  • What is Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)?

    Laser means Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Unlike normal light which scatters and cannot carry information, laser light is coherent; which means its waves run parallel and carry information, as a result it is much more valuable when it is used for therapy.
    Lasers come in numerous forms, however the ones that it is used for therapy is called low level laser, cold laser, soft laser, bio-stimulating laser, or healing laser. 
    Low level lasers in contrast to hot lasers will never heat, cut, burn or destroy body tissue. Therapeutic lasers are supplying energy to the body in the form of photons of coherent light.
